Walt Disney once said “We keep moving forward, opening new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

Sean and myself have always felt that if we are not curious and if we are not striving to learn new things, in fact re-learn old things. Well, how can we even be living or growing as people. We learnt along time ago that we all have the capacity to exist, doing the same old same ol’ in a safe little bubble. We learnt along time ago that, that life wasn’t for us. We like to do things our way, take risks and if it works YAY. If not lessons were learned and there is no such thing as failure. Nearly all of the incredible souls we met in 2017 felt the same. What a happy positive bunch you all are!

2017 was a year full of of laughter, so much beauty, so much human love and connection that it is hard to encapsulate it here in a few lines. We have borne witness to the human condition healing old wounds and starting whole new love stories for generations to come. It was a year that saw us for fill “bucket list” dreams of travelling the west coast of California and across Canada, Berlin, new but old sleepy mountain top villages in France. We even traveled to the tiny and beautiful San Juan islands! We reconnected with friends and family. 2017 saw so many new opportunities come our way and it sadly also saw us close some doors. It is a year that we became stronger as a couple and indeed saw Sean and Kate grow as team, as we welcomed Zyanya to the fold. You will fondly know her as,Cece. 2017 was a year that saw so much, our heads spin a little at the force in which it sped by. We have gained knowledge, so much love, so many colourful memories from 2017, yet it feels like we are only waking from a dream?

We cant believe that we are here, ready to welcome in 2018 with open hearts, to all that is yet to come.

It has taken along time to try and pick the “best of” there was so much that we wanted to put in, yet mindful that we didn’t bore you to death either! We hope that you will enjoy the ride as much as we have!

To everyone that we were blessed to meet in 2017. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being you, because of you our lives and the world is a happier, more magnificent place. Always stay light hearted and remember, what Walt said…. “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible!”
