Killruddery House
They are: “ The crazy American couple who dragged all of our friends and family on the trip of a lifetime to get married!”
Not to mention parting the night away in spectacular style in Killruddery House
The lovebirds from Chicago flew to Ireland with their nearest and dearest for one hell of an Irish adventure. Our story with Kaitlyn and Nick began in covid as the duo planned the big bash. While I would say they had us “at hello.” Kaitlyn and I fell in love with each other over broken pots and those pesky cucumber plants and cilantro’s that just wouldn’t grow on either side of the pond. As for Nick and Sean… all it took was for Sean to “crack open a beer on our introductory call.”
Over many emails back and forth, that usually had nothing to do with the wedding a bond was formed. Due to a baby emergency, I couldn’t be there ( thank you to the ever stunning Carien for stepping into my shoes) Kaitlyn forever known in this house as “Elsa” was ever hilariously her legendary self . Taking time out of the big day to chat with myself and Lottie on the phone.
Side note* Our daughter now only thinks we take photos of princesses and happy people at parties! Kaitlyn (and Nick) not only planned their wedding from another country, while growing veg, Kaitlyn also made her own wedding dress and all the stationary!
If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?
“They’re the friendliest, most relaxed photography pair we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! Not only are they incredibly talented, they’re unfailingly kind, upbeat, and just a little bit sarcastic!”
What, was your favourite part of your day and why?
I think for both of us, the ceremony part was the highlight! It went so smoothly and all our friends and family were there to celebrate!
Where did we excel at the service we provided?
“Personality – we were already so comfortable around you by the time the wedding came around, that it was a breeze!”
“We are absolutely in for any kind of shenanigans you could throw at us. Rain, sleet, or shine, we are going to celebrate some love!”
Where do you think we could improve?
“Honestly wouldn’t change a thing!”
